Our Swimming School Facilities
One of our major benefits over the large recreation centres is that when your child is having their lesson at State Swim swimming schools, there are no other activities going on around them. This allows children to concentrate on the important job at hand instead of wondering when they can get to the waterslide or play pool!!
Our swimming schools' facilities are either purpose built for our requirements, or in the case of existing centres, they have been modified to suit our needs. Nevertheless, all of our centres are designed to create an optimal environment to learn to swim.
All of our swimming school facilities are heated to 32 degrees, include full change room and shower facilities and a swim shop, where you can purchase bathers and other swimming accessories. We also have plenty of on site parking making access to our centres safe and easy. Many of our facilities also include a viewing room, meaning you can view your child’s swimming lessons in airconditioned comfort whilst enjoying a cup of coffee.
All State Swim swimming schools are fitted with the most up to date filtration and water treatment plants and are operated by trained professional pool plant operators whose job is to ensure that our water is always of the highest quality and presentation.
Most State Swim schools are equipped with state of the art and environmentally friendly water purification systems that results in fresher and cleaner water without the overpowering smell of chlorine. This modern water treatment technology includes an Ultraviolet (UV) light system which significantly reduces the amount of chlorine used. The benefits for the swimmer include:
- Gentle on children’s skin, and in particular babies
- No more sore and red eyes after swimming
- Little or no skin irritation, particularly those who suffer from eczema
- Better environment for asthmatics
