400 Gold Program

State Swim's 400 Gold Program is for children from 4 years of age with swimming lessons that will cater for the complete beginner right through to the more experienced swimmer. The State Swim 400 Gold Program's 8 stages will take the young swimmer step by step through the important skills of being able to swim and all graduates will be able to demonstrate competence in all 4 competitive strokes as well as being able to swim 400 metres of freestyle non-stop with correct breathing and technique in a relaxed rhythmical freestyle. Once this is achieved the swimmer will then be awarded the State Swim 400 Gold certificate - our most prestigious certificate which signifies the holder as being a strong, safe and competent swimmer.
