At State Swim, we know that the children of today are the leaders, innovators and healers of tomorrow, and we want to help give them the best childhood they can possibly have. However, for some children - both here in WA and around the world - childhood illness can impact their quality of life and the time they get to spend just being a kid. We want to help change that - which is why, for the second year now, we're fundraising for Telethon.
From Monday 8th - Friday 19th October, State Swim will be offering reduced-fee Swim for Telethon swimming lessons. Available to both new and existing swimmers, the full $15 fee from each lesson will be donated straight to Telethon, to help them support sick kids in need.
In 2017, the event's inaugural year, State Swim swimmers clocked up an incredible 35,000m in the pool and raised almost $5000 through Swim for Telethon swimming lessons. We're so proud of what our State Swim community achieved last year - but this year, we want to do even better!
How can you help?
- Book your reduced-fee $15 Swim for Telethon lesson* with State Swim now!
- Tell your friends and family and encourage them to take part too - no ongoing commitment is required for these casual lessons!
- If you can't make an additional lesson, you can now donate at the front desk of every State Swim swimming school during the promotion period.
