Latest COVID-19 Restrictions

Our swim schools are open with our regular timetables running and the following COVID safety measures in place: 
- Face masks are required (except when swimming)
- Check-in via app or register on arrival 
Please note safety measures may vary; please ask your school for more information. 

Our Perth schools are still waiting for further clarification regarding the proof of vaccination requirements from 31st January 2022. More information will be communicated when available. 

What to do if you're unable to attend your swimming class? 
To assist your teacher with preparing and planning for your class, please let us know before the start time if you are unable to attend your lesson. Your online account is the fastest way to cancel your booking. If you're unable to cancel using your account, please call your school

Our safety processes are more effective when we all play our part. Please remember to wear your mask when in our centre, and if you or a swimmer feels unwell, cancel your class using your online account and follow the health guidelines.

Team Bronze

Team Bronze Squad Classes

Duration 60 mins
The first of the three levels in the Health & Sport program

Team Bronze is the first level of our Health & Sport program which gives swimmers an introduction to basic squad training techniques to further their stroke development, speed and endurance.

What Happens in a Team Bronze Lesson?

Team Bronze swimmers will swim between 1.5km and 2km during each session and will focus on stroke development, competitive starts, turns and finishes. Team Bronze swimmers have the opportunity to participate in our monthly Super Swims (time trials) and in Interschool Swimming Carnivals.

What Skills Will Swimmers Learn?

  • Increase focus on stroke development and correction
  • Practice backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly turns

What Merit Awards Will Swimmers Receive?

Each of the below skills will be required to be acheived in a set time:

  • 50 metre x 10 freestyle
  • 200 metre freestyle 
  • 100 metre individual

What Happens When a Swimmer Graduates Team Bronze?

Once swimmers have achieved Team Bronze merits, they will be promoted to Team Silver of ourHealth & Sport program.
