Meet the Operations Manager of State Swim Golden Grove!
Alex is the Operations Manager at State Swim Golden Grove. She took some time from her busy schedule to answer a few questions:
1) When did you start working for State Swim?
August 1994
2) Proudest moment at State Swim?
First becoming an Assistant Manager and then a Manager.
3) Favourite swimming related memory?
Winning back to back Swimming Carnivals in Spring 2016 and Autumn 2017.
4) Why State Swim?
I've always enjoyed swimming and working with children.
5) Three words to describe your job?
Enjoyable
Challenging
Rewarding
6) Something not many people know about you?
I have two boys Liam & Sean and a 12 year old Golden Retriever Bailey.
As a young child, I used to line my teddies up on my bed, give them golden books as boards and teach them to swim.
7) Who would you like to be for a day?
